Pibborafi Rescue Heroes - Piggie, Bully Breed Rescue

Piggie was severely abused as a backyard breeder for six years before he was rescued. His vet recognized that his paws were indicative of a dog who had spent many years standing on metal caging.

Piggie's nose was covered in keratin overgrowth, a disorder known as hyperkeratosis, a sign of neglect. His ears cropped in a brutal backyard hack-job.

Found wandering the streets, abandoned, in March 2020, he was picked up by animal control. he was brought in as a foster, his fosters thinking he would only be with them a short time. They decided that THEY were his family and they adopted him that night.

His health struggles were not over yet but his new family took him in, and due to his poor health when he was rescued, they vowed to make every day his best day ever, and they proudly did that for our 4 years with him, protected him, loved him and gave him a wonderful life full of joy.

Until it was Piggie's turn to go to the Rainbow Bridge. He will always be loved and remembered by all those he touched with his gentle soul. His Pibb is a tribute to him.
