Chaplin was brought to his forever home from the shelter in March of 2018. He was almost 3.5 years old. I was his fourth home. His most recent owner had dumped him by the side of the road & was known to have been abusive.

He just needed understanding. His new forever mom found an amazing trainer, who offered stay & trains in her home. After in-home training & two amazing stay & trains, mom learned how to love Chap in ways that fostered trust.

It took about six months, his guarding issues completely disappeared, and he proved to be a gentle, cuddly, sweet pup … a true diamond in the rough. Today, his fav thing is to roll in the grass, even on walks. He'll stop drop and roll in anyone's yard, usually about every other one. One day Charlie Chaplin came to mind and Chap found his name. Chaplin helps @loveabullatx

Chaplin and his mom are also a part of @staffysaturday, an advocacy team from all over the US that features dogs looking for their forever homes and help them gain exposure.
